TuneUp (โปรแกรมหาชื่อเพลง บน iTune) : โปรแกรม TuneUp เป็นโปรแกรมประเภท โปรแกรมหาชื่อเพลง รวมไปถึง ชื่อศิลปิน ปกอัลบั้ม ที่หายไปใน สำหรับคนที่ ดาวน์โหลด iTunes เนื่องจากว่าหลายๆ คนที่เปิดเพลงฟังด้วยโปรแกรมเล่นเพลงชื่อดังอย่าง iTunes (ไอจูน) นั้นอาจเคยประสบปัญหาลักษณะที่ว่า จะเปิดเพลงที่ตัวเองชอบ แต่ไม่ทราบว่าเพลงที่ต้องการอยู่ไหน หาชื่อเพลง ไม่เจอ สาเหตเพราะ เพลงที่ชอบ ชื่อไฟล์ดันตั้งชื่อไว้ว่า Track01 , Track02, Track25, Unknown Artist ก็เรียกได้ว่าบางทีอยากจะฟังเพลงที่ตัวเองชอบ เผลออาจต้องใช้เวลา หาชื่อเพลง นานกว่า ความยาวในเพลงอีกด้วยซ้ำไป ซึ่งก็สร้างความลำบากให้กับคอเพลง และยากต่อการใช้ iTunes (ไอจูน) เป็นอย่างมาก

TuneUp "listens" intelligently to your tracks by analyzing the audio waveforms and using characteristics like beats per minute (tempo), frequency range, average power in each frequency band (spectral flatness), and acoustic resonances to fix your metadata. This is commonly referred to as acoustic fingerprinting. TuneUp currently licenses this technology (MusicIDtm) from Gracenote, which references a database of over 90 million indexed tracks.
